Conflict of Interest Policy
Purpose
RJCCN requires authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial staff to disclose any relationships or activities that could influence, or appear to influence, the objectivity of the publication process.
Author Disclosure
Authors must disclose all relevant financial and non-financial conflicts of interest.
Examples include:
- Employment
- Consultancy
- Grants or funding
- Honoraria
- Stock ownership
- Patents
- Advisory roles
- Personal or professional relationships
If no conflicts exist, authors should state:
" The authors declare that they have no competing interests. "
Reviewer Disclosure
Reviewers must disclose any conflicts that could affect their impartiality and must decline review assignments when appropriate.
Editorial Disclosure
Editors shall recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.
Alternative editorial oversight will be assigned when necessary.
Transparency
Conflict of interest disclosures will be published when relevant and will be considered during editorial decision-making.
Note: RJCCN follows the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing and is guided by the recommendations of COPE and ICMJE.
