Data Availabilty Policy

Purpose

RJCCNephrology supports transparency, reproducibility, and integrity in scientific research. Authors are encouraged to make research data available whenever ethically and legally possible.

Data Availability Statement

All research articles should include a Data Availability Statement describing:

  • Where supporting data can be accessed.
  • Conditions for access.
  • Any restrictions on data availability.

Recommended Repositories

Authors are encouraged to deposit datasets in recognized public repositories whenever appropriate.

Examples include:

  • Institutional repositories
  • Discipline-specific repositories
  • General-purpose research repositories

Restricted Data

Where legal, ethical, privacy, confidentiality, or patient-protection concerns prevent public sharing, authors should clearly explain the restrictions.

Availability Upon Request

If data cannot be publicly deposited, authors should indicate whether data may be made available upon reasonable request.

Editorial Review

Editors may request access to underlying data during peer review or investigation of concerns regarding published work.

Failure to provide supporting data when requested may result in rejection, correction, or retraction of an article.
